Over the last 27 years, the QST30 has grown to one of the most successful industrial engines in the world with over 30,000 engines sold. The QST30 was built to handle the toughest environments and is used  globally by many customers in a variety of applications. The QST30 is robust and has proven its durability through thousands of QST30 engines operating in haul trucks, blast hole drills and wheel loaders.

  • High Pressure Common Rail Fuel System (HPCR) — System works at pressures of up to 2,000 bar, aiding in cleaner more efficient combustion as a result of more precise control of fueling and timing that also meets the most rigorous emissions regulations.
  • EPA/ARB Tier 4 Final Mobile Off-Highway (MOH) and EU Stage V Non-Road Certified — Meets requirements for both standards, providing the same efficient engine for global distribution, creating lower operating temperatures, smaller cooling systems and better fuel economy with the use of the SCR emission system.

The decision to use SCR in high horsepower (HHP) engines, is backed by billions of hours of expertise at Cummins in both exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and SCR technologies for emissions control.
