Power Training
Cummins Power Generation's Power Training Course provides a two-day overview for those involved in specifying and designing diesel generator set installations and systems. The course covers electrical and mechanical fundamentals of installation, controls, generator ratings, exhaust emissions and sound attenuation.
The course is specifically designed for our customers, especially those electrical engineers and consulting engineers that design and specify generator installations.
Cummins Power Generation is very proud to have received endorsement for this training by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, formerly IEE).
Training is held at our European headquarters near London, UK. We are the only diesel genset company to offer this type of training in the UK which is accredited by a worldwide recognised professional institution.
The course covers a broad range of topics specific to high speed diesel generator technology and is an excellent way to gain an awareness of generator installation from the experts. With effect from November 2008, a fee of £150 per person will be applied which covers the course fee, all training materials, lunch and refreshments. This fee is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
